Handicapped bring/draw tournament.
Everyone is tired of DYP’s so make it an option to play with your bring partner. Back in the day we did this and would get 22 teams on a Tuesday night at the Showdown in Fort Worth. Here is how it works.
1. Put all Draw players names in a hat and draw pairs creating a list of numbered teams as you go.
2. Add the bring teams to the list.
3. Combine all the team numbers in a hat and draw up 1st round matches as you fill in the chart.
Handicapping Rules
1. A team’s rating is that of the most advanced player.
2. Non-pro ladies and rookies get a point spot.
3. Bring Team spots a 1 point to draw team, unless
a. Amateur or lower Bring Team Vs. Pro Draw team.
b. Bring team includes a non-pro Woman player or a rookie.
4. Rookie teams get all drops against Pro teams, except for 3rd game.
5. Pro bring team spots rookie draw team 2 points and rookie team gets all drops except for 3rd game.
6. Pro bring team spots Amateur draw team 1 point and Amateur team gets all drops except for 3rd game.
7. Semi pro team gets 1st drop against pro team.
Additional option
1. Players must play in DYP once every 4 tournaments.
