I like talking to foosers and would dearly love to play them at some point and time. I think you hear my thoughts, Foosball.com road trip! Help me,time, locations and possibilities,,, this is too good not to do. Let's get a doable plan.  We have plenty of time, suggestions anyone?

Where would the trip start and end?  How long of a trip?  No, seriously, if you could play foos against anyone, who would it be?  Would that person be at your final stop?  Would the goal of the road trip be to hone your game in to be able to defeat the player or just to give them a good run for it.  One of your first stops must stop in Billings, Montana on a Tuesday night.   (-:

doesn't Billngs have the Pipkins and wasn't Tony Spredman living with them a while back?

I like the idea of a trip...are you talking about making rounds or meeting at some place sort of central for a couple of days of ass-whoopin

The Pipkins are in Bozeman (2hrs away) and yes Tony was there for awhile.  You can see Tony's influence on Jeffrey Jr.'s (pro) game.   Pipkins are a true family of foosers, you have to love them.  A stop in Bozeman, MT will give you a quick reality check on how good your game is.  Semi-pros are in that area and some rookies who are not or shouldn't be rookies.

Billings, it's going to happen, but it will be when I make a trip back to Wsconsin. I told my wife(AKA Quick Kris) that we have to make a layover on the next trip through Montana. She's got game, boy do I know that she's still got game,,, So bring on the competition, the worst we can do is lose. We'll see,,,, ;D

OM,

Let me know when you are here.  Tuesday night is the best night for playing Billings foosers.  Yes, we will allow y'all to play on the same team in our dyp.  In fact, if there is enough teams then we would just have a BYP tourney instead.

Marty is in!  Who else wants in on the action?  It would be nice if grandmaster (Rapid City) would bring a team or two.  Also, if North Dakota showed up it would make it interesting.  Tuesday nights might be tough for out ot towners but the bar matches the pot with no limit.  $5 entry would be $10 per team.  3/5 format $.75 a game/lesson.  I know Bozeman would show up if the above players could make it.  Anyway, it all sounds good to me.  I might have to break out some ariel shots that i never make.  Hell, I might have to put old back pin roller into action. (-:  Barenuckle singles would be a great addition.

Bullwackers
Bring your Partner Doubles $10 per team (no two pro) House matches entrys
3 out 5 format
&
BareNuckle Singles $5 ea. (no wraps/glove) No bar kicker
2 out 3 format

The Billings players are willing to convert a dyp into a byp if a team shows up.

Jeremy, I like the bareknuckle singles, can we make a little more money? I can't drive for $5 entries.

So, a Tuesday Night would ok?  Singles entry could go up $10 but the bar will not kick in anything.  I will talk to the guys next week.  When the players show up it will happen, I guess.  Only way we could start earlier is, well, just won't happen on a Tuesday Night.  Two tables is all we have so it would go something like this--8pm warm up, 8:30pm sign ups and 9pm singles on one table and Doubles on the other.  3 out 5 format is the usual for open events but 2 out 3 would shorten the duration of the event--hum, tough choice.  I say stick with 3 out 5 format for doubles but make the single 2 out of 3.

I hope I can do this trip sooner than later but it probably won't be as soon as I would like. I have a bone to pick with you Big Sky foosers in that I lost a match to the Montana state champions in 1980 or 81. I was killing them when my partner who was a hung over/still drunk/just got his journeymanship as an iron worker decided he wanted to play front. It was a qualifier tournament and this guy qualified also,,,I have a special place for Montana ;) and a different place for ironworkers >:(

OM,

Who--what, 1980?  What town?  Missoula or Butte, maybe?  Anyway, hit us up when y'all are in the area.  Maybe you have a flashback when you play our very own "old Andy."  Nevertheless, I will be happy to provide foosball lessons at the mere low cost of $.75 a game.  However, there is no guarantee that you will be provided with the opportunity to score.  All kidding aside, just let me know when you may be coming through.

Front pin ya later,

Jeremy
