Foosball and ESPN

Great news for foosball

Quote
Mary,

I've got the ESPN Magazine/ESPN 3 reporter and a film crew coming down from New
York to cover the U.S. Open, if that's okay with you...  They want to do a
short segment featuring Tony Spredeman, and will likely also do a little with
Rico (if he's there), Terry Moore, and perhaps Ryan.  This would be a good time
to remind Pro-Master players to be at least presentably dressed (interestingly,
all past and present US Nat'l Team/Team USA members but one and nearly all
other PM's wore ITSF-compliant clothing in the ITSF events at HOF!!).  In any
case, the ESPN team hopes to stay at the hotel, so I sent them a scanned copy
of the flier and advised them to book rooms right away.

Also, I'm working the final draft USTSF press release today.  You'll have it
pretty quickly, as I hope to do the hard copy mailing tomorrow before I leave
for Germany.  Do you have an electronic version of the flier I can send out
with the release?

Take care,
Larry Davis, for USTSF

I wonder if these players could get sponsors now that they might be on ESPN?

one step at a time...if it could get on air and filmed and shown right, we can think of next steps next if you know what I mean...this could be historical or a bust...lets hope for the latter

There were a few girls there filming and taking pics. I think they were from ESPN the magazine not the TV station. They were only there fro like 2 hours but they did interview and film quite a few PM's. Im sure we will hear when the issue with foosball hits news-stands.

So now do we have to add Ezekiel "Professional Photographer" Moore to your list of monikers?
