Playing field bubble
« on: August 26, 2005, 05:52:52 PM »
There is a spot on my playing field (tornado cyclone II) near a goal that has seamed to come unglued to the board.  Is there any way i can reheat the glue and get it to stick or maybe inject some glue to hold it down?

Same Question, small 1mm fingernail bubble.  Does the entire surface need replace.  I have a heat-gun that I can use on it.  Small syringe hole with glue?  I know it would be very hard to come up from the bottom without puncturing the laminate.  Or just go with a new playing field for $150?

I do some laminate stuff at work, and more often than not there is a type of hot melt adhesive used to bond the laminate......so typically if it is something small you can take an iron and hold it over the bubble for about 30 seconds to a minute and reheat the glue. Apply a small amount of pressure and the laminate should rebond there.......

What is the appropriate glue to use when relaminating something on the table?
