Senior Tour Schedule-*Lets make it Easier for the Old and Young to play*

0 Members and 2 Guests are viewing this topic.

Several things continue to happen.

(1) Average age of the player is growing older
(2) Player Responsibilities grow as they get older
(3) Hard to find Venues that allow younger players to play foosball at reasonable hours
(4) Hard to find Venues with playing times that allow responsible early risers to play

Solution:
Start a SeniorTour (Foosball Once a Week, with hours catering to Seniors, responsible family members, young players,& those with jobs & other responsibilities preventing them from attending late night events)

(1) Event starts around 3 on Saturday and finishes around 7:00pm (4 hours of Senior Time FoosMadness)
........This allows the kids and Seniors to get out before the boom starts up...
........The Venue would benefit from the extra business during their slow hours.....
........Easier for kids to play before the big 8:00 crowd comes in..........................
........less smoke to deal with before the big 8:00 crowd comes in....................
.......Would allow players to do other things with their significant others and still play foosball on Sat....

(2) Need a place(schedule on the Internet) listing the locations of all the Saturday Senior Tour Events

(3) A 2nd event can start at 8:00 pm for those late nighters. Or those that want to do other things
can go on and do other things, then those that remain can play Table Challenge. Thus at 8:00
the old 70's Rock and Roll weekly Table Challenge starts.

Does this appeal to any of you? Anyone have any other suggestions in how we can get this started 52 week National Senior(SaveFoosball) Tour started. A national wide schedule complete with with Venue address, Venue Rules, Tournament playing time, & maps?

Gary:

This kind of deal is a great idea for the USTSF state association.  Do you know who your state represenitive is?  Get organized and work the kinks out then have your state association present it to others.

We have something like this we have Beginners singles once a month and it starts at 6pm and is usually done by 8pm.  We have been doing this for a few months and we got about 4 kids under 21 and some foosers girl friends and wives that play in this event.  This helps get new foosers and some of the new players stick around for the Hi-Lo event that starts after this one.
