FAS are almost the same as fabi. one difference is that fabi handles taper and fas. both are italian tables but are not nearly as good as the new garlando, although are very similar to the block foot garlandos. The table would be fine if you ordered a bunch of garlando balls.
Toronto... I'm from edmonton and i'm a member of TSAC(table soccer association of canada) and I follow canadian foos quite a bit. In toronto there are a few differnet places to play foosball. The biggest scene there is a bunch of fastball players, the large italian population supports that scene and i'm sure there are a ton. Somehow there isn't a tornado scene in toronto except for the players at there houses. you can contact the tornado players through the TSAC site,
www.tablesoccerca.ning.com. Tornado is the most commonly played table in north america. If you plan on traveling to play foos you should get a tornado, you can find used coin-ops for sale around the GTA. Also there is a bonzini group in toronto, and that is the french table, commonly used in quebec and france. You can see each style of table on the ITSF site,
www.table-soccer.org .
My advice would be to buy a tornado coin op used, but other choices exist so hopefully i have helped. i hope you get a table soon.
