1970's Rene Pierre table

Hey everybody, I was hoping you could help me out.

My dad recieved two 1970's coin op. rene pierre tables, both missing pieces here and there. He combined them and made one completely working table. It can take quarters and work, no broken guys, the whole nine yards.

I've searched all over for it so I can compare prices, but nobody seems to have one. I know new ones (that aren't coin op) can go for 1000-1800, and I assume ours is worth more, being old and coin operated and fully operational and all.

so what do you guys think it'd go for?

Mr. Chowder,

I agree that Alan would be a good resource. My understanding is that the first year or 2, the RP tables came with blue tops, followed by the common green color used in Bonzini and RP tables. My understanding is that a blue top adds significantly to the value - is yours blue or green?

Mr. Chowder,
I think tyler is correct.  I think the 70-72 RPs had blue top.  All that remains from my 71-72 RP is a key chain tag with the table image imprinted on metal.

Hi Chowder,

I too have one of the old coin-op Rene Pierre tables from the 1970's (it's stamped Peabody's Virginia Beach on the chrome plating opposite of the scoring beads) but one of the hard plastic handles just broke (I believe it's threading is 15mm and it has the opposite threading as the Bonzini [14mm]).

I wondered if you or your father would be willing to sell me a handle or two? I'm having a challenge finding a replacement handle and would be willing to pay a premium. Please let me know your thoughts at your earliest convenience.

Best Regards,
John Waters
