Still looking for a Tornado, but what do you think of the Imperial Premier?

I have found a inexpensive, never used Imperial Premier on Craigs list

The owner claims that it is a last table from his closed game room business.  I have found the same table new locally for about $630 without delivery.

Here is a link to the picture of the same table, note the red lettering on the side of the table
http://www.amazon.com/Imperial-Premier-Butcher-Block-Foosball/dp/B000GF3T2A

The owner is asking for $325, I may be able to negotiate for $275.

My question is, with full knowledge that the Tornado tables are far superior, what is the general consensus of the Imperial?

It has a one goal system with banked corners, very different from the Tornado Tournament style.

Any thoughts on the playability of the table and price would be appreciated.

Thanks

Not sure but looks like this old table at my friends house in college. If that is the same table, it is not worth $20 much less $275. THERE IS A REASON THAT EVERYONE SAYS TO BUY A TORNADO!!!!! Why try to cheap out and save $100 or $150 when a Tornado will survive a class 5 hurricane and that table will fall apart in a light rain?!?!?!?! :-[

save your money and buy right the first time instead of trying to save money and buying impulsively because you are anxious

it isn't cheap to plop down $450-$1250 but you get what you pay for and this is never more true than with foosball tables

you can see the thread pinned at the top of the forum now
