How do you move up in positions?  Is there more positions than just newbie?  I looked in the part where you can see all the members and there was mostly newbies.

Your rank is presumably determined by how many posts you have. When you have more posts you get higher ranks.

Yeah at like 10 or 25 posts or something you'll get moved up to something else.

Don't worry about it, though, it's not like you get any special bonuses for having another rank.
