Looking for parts for my Sportcraft
« on: January 28, 2010, 10:00:22 PM »
What's up everyone?  First time poster but long time foosball player.  :)

I recently moved and my table got a bit messed up.  I'm looking to replace my goalposts and get 2 more score beads.  Here are pictures of what I'm dealing with.

If anyone can point me in the right direction, that would be great.  I called sportcraft directly and the lady hardly knew anything and the parts are unavailable as well.

I'm sorry to say that this is a bit too common of an issue with buying a lot of manufacturers foosball tables.   They just don't stockpile or make available parts to service their entry level tables.

you've got 2 options....
1) move 1 or 2 beads from the other score posts to have both sides go to 7 or 8pts instead of 9.... and then crazy glue, or putty the broken piece/post back into place....

2) find a set of parts from another table (that makes spare parts available) and retrofit them to your table. ( http://shop.foosball.com )

good luck....  Jim

Thanks for the response Jim.  The beads aren't a big issue because none actually got lost.  I just thought it was weird that it came with only 9 in the first place, so I wanted to make it 10.

I was thinking about the retrofit option myself and asked the lady on the phone at sportcraft what would work but she was ABSOLUTELY no help so if any of you all have an idea about the model number of table I'm looking for that would be sweet!

Your table is Sportcraft model  35910DS_HD   Coliseum, 60"

The part number for the scorer assembly is 9-3-35-910HD07

unfortunately, the part is "temporarily out of stock"  and there is no ETA for availability,  according to the Sportcraft website.

Sorry we can't be of more help.

Pat

Yea Pat I looked on the website and noticed it was the exact same as that model.  I'm calling sportcraft tomorrow to see about a timeframe.

Do any of you have a table on tile?  What do you use to prevent it from sliding?

Go to the hardware store and get a sheet of that matting used to line drawers(roll is like a couple bucks, share with friends  :P , there is way more on a roll than you need).  Cut into 6" x 6" squares (4 of them).  Put a square under each leg of the table.  Voila!  table should stop sliding around!

PatRayan:

The matting you are referring to, is it that rubbery/squishy mesh-like mat?  Or are you referring to something else?

Out of curiousity, how do you level that table?  Are there adjusters on the bottom of each leg?  If so then you can probably use a smaller square than the 6" x 6" PatRyan is suggesting for a cleaner look.

Yes, that rubbery, squishy, meshlike stuff will work.  There are usually a variety of choices.  Any of those types of products that prevent skidding and slipping once weight is applied will work.  Sometimes you can find rubber type stuff meant to go under the legs on various pieces of furniture that will also work, but the drawer stuff is usually the cheapest.

I've actually never adjusted it but yes it has adjusters on the bottom of each.  I forgot that my gf just put some stuff on the bottom of her couches so I may give them rubbery squishy stuff a try.  I think she said it was like $5.

I finally got in touch with sportcraft and the damn parts I would need are on backorder until like March.  ughhhh
