There will be a turny on the 3rd sat. of the month for the next 3 months.

Is there a tourney this thursday the 11th at the turf?

No, thursdays are just a night of playing at the turf, the tourneys there are the 3rd saturday of the month, The thursday tourneys are at Rhombus in Grand Forks.

So there is a turny in GF on thursday the 11th.  Does anyone know any details about it.  I may be in the area on business and want to play?

The tourny's are held at the Rhombus Guys, the bar is downtown Grand Forks, 312 Kittson Avenue, and the table is on the second floor.  It starts around 9, but feel free to show up early to get some games in.  Here's a map:

I am planning on coming down for the tourny on the 20th.  I hope there is a good turnout and am excited about it.  Also I would be up for bringing one of my tables down for the day, if that would help the TD run some other events ( OD, OS, another DYP, Whatever).  So I guess all of you eastcoasters should spread the word around the turf and let me know.

The more tables and events the better.  If one of the Thursday night guys could get the ok from the turf that'd be great.  And if it does work out, make sure you bring a light and something to hang it up with.  Looking forward to Saturday.

Still have not heard either way on the table, it does not sound like there are many people interested einer.  Let me know though, Kane said he was gonna check into it.  Now with the light and hanging it, it sounds like a pain in the ass.  They don t already have light there?
