I don't know what the table situation is, that sounds like Kane's department. At the last tourney we had had a second table that had some issues. I would much prefer a different table if possible, but then again I'm not the one who would have to load it and transport it. As far as lighting, We had a decent fluorescent hanging over the second table, and the light over the primary table is adequate.
Getting a count of how many people are going to show up seems to be a challenge. We had 20 people last time. We have a solid core of people that usually ensures about 14 people. Beyond that people show up at random. We have this flood thing going on again, but I'm hoping it won't really affect the turnout. I've been anxious for this tournament as soon as the last one ended.
We're always looking to get more players to the tournaments, especially if they have some new looks and moves for us to try to figure out. We actually had a character in from Dickinson on wednesday who was talking you up your skills. The majority of us are an easy going group with a strong addiction to the game. The tournaments are draw partner and the rules are somewhere between "bar" rules and tornado official (probably closer to bar rules but don't quote me on that).
Table or not, we'd appreciate another player.
