I'll lobby for it.  I think we'll have decent numbers.  With the unknowns we should have enough to warrant the 2nd table.  Thanks for letting us know about your attendance plans.

We let the Turf know to bring in a 2nd table.  From what we can gather we should have a turnout similar to last tournament, if not better.  Table 2, will keep things moving much better than last go-'round.

Turn out was pretty good.  We had 18 people.  We had the second table brought in and things moved along nicely.  Einer and Guy took 1st place, Joel and Matthew took 2nd place.  I'm unsure of the placings beyond that.  Hopefully we can keep the numbers up and continue bringing in the second table.

good to hear.  we still have a grace period and can claim Einer as a gf resident, so i'm doing that right now.  mark a point for team gf.  i'm hoping to make it up in january, and i know a few others are also hoping.  what time did it get done with two tables?  Finish time is a factor for myself.

from what I remember, it was done by 6ish?  Maybe I'm wrong though.  That's my drunken recollection.

Excellent.  Thanks for the heads up.  We don't have a rough estimate of the numbers yet.  Anyone else planning to attend this Saturday... Grand Forks? Einer? Guests?

Ya, I'll be there.  Just wonder who's gonna get stuck carrying  Kane this time around.

Anyone wanna babysit Pat Friday night so he can get up for the tourney?  I sorta miss the beat downs he usually gives me.

Thanks for the bump Einer.  It's true.  It's foosball time again in a few short days.  We'll try to get the second table in again.  I think last time we actually had 20 people for the first tournament.  Let us know if you plan to attend.  This makes it easier for us to estimate a number for the bar so they actually bring in the table.  Looking forward to this weekend and next weekend in Forks.

I'm a fooser from WI and I have relatives in Fargo, ND...looking to roadtrip out there one of these days...what's the foos scene like out there? Do you have any large tournaments this year?

We have a number of tournaments scheduled at the Turf bar in Fargo.  Generally we see a turnout between 7-10 teams.  As large is a relative term, I'll let you decide how big our tournament is.  We bring in a second table to keep things moving and the first tournament lasts somewhere around 4 hours.  We run an additional tournament after that with whoever sticks around.  The remaining dates in Fargo are as follows.

Saturdays @1PM
FEB 19
MAR 12
APR  9
APR 30

$10 Entry Fee Per Player (Draw Partners)

There is a tournament in Grand Forks Feb 26.  Other than that I don't know of any Foosball tournaments happening in the immediate region.  If any of those dates work for you, we're always happy to have new players in the mix.

I'll be there for Saturday's tournament, but it doesn't look like anyone else from work will be coming.

What's Kane's status for the tournament?
