My friend got a foosball table for the holidays and we are hooked!
I'm even (crazily) considering buying one for myself.
Do you have any tips or moves that would be good for me to practice since I won't be able to use the table every day.
Is there any way to practice without the table?
I COMPLETELY suck right now, but I love it.  So any tips and tricks are invited.
I cannot write in words how bad I am at foosball right now. :P

Ball Control, Ball Control, Ball Control.  Everything is affected by ball control.  You'll be amazed how quickly you improve if you concentrate on ball control.

Don't get frustrated when you play against better players, especially starting out.  Everybody starts on the bottom.  Enjoy yourself and never give up.

Find some of the local players and learn from them.

Search youtube for these names along with the word foosball:

Pappas, Lofreddo, Spredeman, Collignon -- these are some of the top players in the world so don't get discouraged. BUT, this is how the game is meant to be played.

Also, search for Zeke Cervantes foosball videos. He has some really good how to videos.

1st Rule of Foosball - NO SPINNING. After that, improvise and focus on ball control, developing some basic shots and expand from there.

Have Fun!!
