Topic: What tornado model is this?

I'm looking to buy this used tornado table. But the owner doesn't know much about it, can you guys let me know what model this is based on the picture and how much should I pay for? thanks

It looks like a Tornado "Sport", which is one of their lower-end models. Google that and check craigslist and you'll get an idea of what others are asking for a used one. You can pick up a top-of-the-line used Tornado coin-op in excellent condition for less than $500 (I got mine for $350) so I wouldn't pay very much at all for a Sport. In fact, I'd just get a used coin-op and pass on this one.

The Tornado Sport really is that bad... The surface is melanine instead of the usual Tornado laminate, and the men aren't counterbalanced... The table is much too light etc... All this means is that the table doesn't play like a Tornado.

Unfortunately, these tables cost $900 new and I suppose that if someone paid that, they would have a hard time accepting the huge depreciation they are now facing after listing their table on the used market. I know I wouldn't pay $100 for a Sport. I don't think I'd take it for free. It would just clutter up my house.
