New Foosball Documentary
« on: October 11, 2012, 12:57:47 PM »
Hey guys. I'm an avid, but new player to foosball. I'm also a filmmaker. After attending my first tournament I decided to make a foosball documentary, that I'll be starting work on this weekend at the IFP Illinois State Tourney.

I've learned about "Foos" which I've just started watching and feel like it's a giant turd. While I'm only ten minutes into it, I can say that this doc is going to be much more fun, much less crazy, and actually be cool.

If you want to be in it, or have fun stories to share about foosball, feel free to call or text me at 502 777 0173. Currently, the tournaments that are going to be covered in this doc are all IFP (Illinois St, Ky St, Tour warm up in ATL, and Nationals. But I probably will expand further.

Here's a (ruggedly produced) mini-doc produced by me and some people about a year ago on the bar where we play foosball. It's mentioned a little bit. Parts of the doc will feel a little like this, but also not.

Anyway, here's the heads up. It's gonna be fun, and ready in about a year.

I think this is awesome.  Robert told his story and I think it is awesome you have the passion to tell your story. No matter your opinion on Foos from a professional stand point I do not think downing Robert's work is the right foot to start on.  Hope you had fun at Illinois State! I am stoked a Stillwater Oklahoma player won his first jacket in Am Doubles. Looking forward to seeing more of your work!!

This is great. We need something new to tell the story of foosball as it currently is. Keep up the good work and let us know when you're done!
