Help a noob, please. Pricing
« on: June 13, 2013, 07:34:21 PM »
Hello, my name is Johnny from Houston.  I'm new to foosball, as well as these here boards.  I need expert advice here.  I own a blone Valley Dynamo pool table, and have been searching forever for a blonde Valley foos table to go with it.  I have been restraining myself from buying.  Now, I've had one come up locally.  It's a blonde T2000 in mint condition, but the guy wants $900 delivered for it.  Seems pretty high to me.  I can afford it, just don't know if it's worth that.  Help!

$900 for a blonde T-2000 seems too high. ~$500-$600 is what they sell for here in NC.

Thank you.  Yeah, I was thinking it was too high.  I'll counter, but I think we're too far apart.  It is gorgeous.  Maybe worth mentioning, it is not coin op either.

Def not worth it for non coin-op. That's overpriced for a coin-op.

Ended up finding a blonde tornado coin op in near perfect condition.  Playfield is perfect, knick or two on the corners, no big deal.  Happily paid 500 for it, then ordered a Fooslight.  Be glad when that thing shows up.

Since you are in Houston, you should look up the players and tournaments there.  They are taking a genuine interest in new players.
