What kind of table is this?
« on: February 24, 2014, 06:35:32 AM »
I ran across this table on Craigslist and couldn't identify it:

It looks a lot like this one, and if that's it, their price is about $1,000 too high :-)

Anyone know what kind of table this is?

Looks like a bonzini or a bonzini clone. I'm sure one of the bonzini experts will chime in.

Yeah, definitely not a Bonzini. Sort of reminds me of the Harvard Bonzini clone, but this one has telescoping rods.

Yeah its a cheap clone. Way better than most entry level tables but still not worth paying for. I used to own the exact table.

Interesting. Did you pay $2795 for your table? That's what the seller claims he paid. Seems way way too high.

Rip off.
Escalade Sports made a model similiar called the NXG.
Seems the Asian clone masters have incorporate the telescopic rod.
If the buyer did pay that much, then they were seriously robbed.

Mine was given to me for free, but I know for a fact it did not cost nearly that much new...

Yeah, hard for me to believe anyone would have paid $2800 for that table and I doubt he'll get $1100.

I like to check Craigslist for tables, mostly just for the fun of it. It's amazing how many overpriced cheap tables there are. I doubt if any of these sell.

The table must have been a gift they've decided to sell.  I'm thinking they did a quick search for "Foosball" and a picture of a Bonzini eventually comes up.  Looks similar to the untrained eye.  Find out how much a new Bonzini sells for....

I can't imagine anyone even responding to that.

I think that is a very likely scenario. People willing to drop $1,000 on a foosball table usually know what they are doing.

That table was first introduced with a solid rod protruding out the side and was sold at Costco for $199.00.
