Topic: Ball stuck between men

I have an ordinary Classic Sport table.  The balls stop between opposing men and cannot be reached.   I assembled table. Where did I go wrong?  Trying to attach photo but failing.  You can picture.

Dead balls happen on all tables, its more noticeable on cheaper tables than high end tables due to tolerances but still exists between all rods.

Dead ball rules - If dead between the 5 bars it goes to 5 bar of team that served last. If outside of 5 bars it goes to closest defense.

Thank you.  I have had this table for 10 years.  The dead ball problem kind of dampened my respect for the game.  Your serious, no-nonsense reply has, for some reason, given me a new appreciation for the sport.  Thanks again.

It's likely an issue with the table. Cheap tables tend to have those type of issues. Only fix is a different table.
