It should be flat. I had that problem with a million dollar table a few years ago that I got for cheap. I fixed it by installing a couple 2x4 ribs under the playfield. I pushed the playfield back up from underneath and attached the ribs to the sidewalls with 90 degree angle brackets.
I was given this vintage (1970's) table by my neighbor. After cleaning it up it looks and works great, but I noticed that no matter where you put the ball on the table it wants to roll in towards the center. I am wondering if the field is supposed to be curved or if it has just sagged over the years. If I apply some pressure on the bottom of the table in the center, it seems to flatten it out pretty well. Wondering if this is something i can/should fix, or if this is the way it was designed and we should just play it as is. I can't figure out how to attach a photo to this post, but the table I have is the same exact one that is shown in this post https://www.foosball.com/forum/index.php?topic=4789.0geometry dashhttps://www.foosball.com/forum/index.php?topic=4789.0Thanks!Laszlo
