ITSF World Championship/World Cup Events Available to

and NetFoos.tv will bring you exciting action from the
upcoming ITSF World Championships and World Cup events in
Nantes, France beginning Thursday January 8th.
These
multi-table events, being held January 8-11, 2009 are
shaping up as two of the most exciting competitions in
the history of the sport, with more than 400 of the
world's top foosball players expected to attend.
The Table
Soccer World Championships will feature qualified Men,
Women, Seniors, Juniors and Disabled players from more
than 35 different countries competing for the overall
world title on the five ITSF-sanctioned tables: Bonzini,
Garlando, RobertoSport, TecBall and Tornado. This event
will take place on Thursday and Friday of this amazing
four day weekend.
The ITSF
World Cup, which captivated foos-fans around the world
with an incredible team event, including the legendary
USA vs. France semifinal, considered by many to be the
sport's finest moment, will begin Friday night and
conclude with the World Cup final on Sunday afternoon.
The 32 men's
World Cup teams will consist of 8 regular players and 2
substitutes, with the 20 national women's teams
fielding 6 regulars and 2 subs. These all star squads
will compete in an exciting multi-table format that was
first unveiled at the first ITSF World Cup event in
Hamburg, Germany in May of 2006.
