Topic: Sag in Tornado Playfield

Hi All I have a grey marble which I love , I have levelled it and suspect it has a slight sag  in the playfield due to the ends very slightly running towards the middle. I have no doubt that because of the age of the playfield I suspect that has sagged over time. I have also heard this can be countered with screws , but how would I set this up?

excellent post reply...  I've been looking for that coin measurement and distance for a long time; this helps with retrofit figures on alternative tables.   I'm wondering what stops someone for inserting mdf or some kind of glass below the playfield to shore it up?

Thanks for that reply will try this out. Is this a problem with all older Tornados?

I don't think it is a common problem, but that's just conjecture on my part. My only experience is with my own 13-year-old cherry coin-op and the playfield seems to be perfectly flat (as indicated by a machinist's level).
